About to implement the algorithm. Quick question about the age criteria, "Must be 731 days old or older" , age in reference to what, at the code entry date ?
Thank you for your response, what about for controls, must be 731 days old or older. since they do not have any of those icd codes , their age will be in reference to what ? first visit ? present ?
about the criteria visits must be for well child for controls , do you have a well child definition ? or do you just add another constraint "age at event <18" ?

We use a ICD9 code for well
